The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) onboard the Terra satellite captured the unseasonable Asian dust spreading over the sea on 19 Oct. It is unusual that the Asian dust is observed domestically in October. GEO Grid Research Group processes the directly broadcasted MODIS data received at SIDaB.

Ice, which is shown in blue purple, formed in the high-altitude well-developed clouds caused by the typhoon. GEO Grid Research Group processes the directly broadcasted MODIS data received at SIDaB.

32nd Steering Committee meeting

The spectral reflectivity was measured simultaneously with the ASTER observation at the frozen surface on Lake Saroma, Hokkaido.

The CR observation for the PALSAR geometric validation was carried out at the frozen surface on Lake Saroma, Hokkaido.

Field campaign colaborated with Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) at Lake Frome and Lake Lefroy.

The PLASAR CR final observation at AIST field in this fiscal year was safely carried out against the first gale of spring.
