K. Iwao made a presentation (Invited by CODATA) entitled "GEO Grid Disaster Response Task Force for the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake" at the IRDE Conference 2011.

K. Iwao participated ICSU/CODATA 45th Anniversary as a representative of CODATA Global Road Development Working Group.

Demonstration experiments of Remote Synchronization System of Onboard Crystal Oscillators for Quasi-zenith Satellites were conducted at National Institute of Information and Communication Technology in Onna, Okinawa for one week.
Some issues of delay estimation remained, however, synchronization was successfully performed to position.
